PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film having a light transmissive image and a coated body by the same method. SOLUTION: The method of forming the coating film having the light transmissive image is provided with a first step for printing the light transmissive image with light transmissive silicone ink containing 5-30 vol.%, preferably 1-10 vol.% silicone oil having light transmissive color on the surface of a transparent or light transmissive base body, a second step for heating the light transmissive image formed by the light transmissive silicone ink, a third step for color-coating on the surface of the heated printed body and a forth step for fixing and immobilizing the color coated coating film.
