PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester having excellent crystallization characteristics, which can be suitably used for forming a blow-molded container excellent in mechanical strength and sealing properties of a mouth part, and suitable for use in packing a liquid such as a drink, at high productivity. SOLUTION: The polyester composition contains a polyolefin component by 0.001-50,000 ppm, and when the composition is subjected to extraction with toluene, the ratio of an extract amount of the component over the weight of the composition is≤0.001 ppm.
