RECORDING METHOD, UNLOADING METHOD, AND MAGNETIC DISK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent write pole erasure when power failure occurs in the magnetic disk device of a perpendicular magnetic recording system. SOLUTION: Write pole erasure uniquely occurs in the magnetized disk device of a perpendicular magnetic recording system. A recording current is supplied to a recording head to record data in a magnetic disk. The occurrence of power failure of the magnetic disk device is detected. The recording head is demagnetized by power at the time of blackout. The recording head is unloaded after the recording head is demagnetized. The power at power failure uses the counter electromotive force of a spindle motor.
