PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the vertical passage width of a lifter in accordance with a token having a different diameter by forming a vertical passage through which tokens of erected states are transferred upward in a line in stead of a mechanism for lifting tokens by a screw member. SOLUTION: Coin-shaped members in a coin-shaped member storing part are sent out one by one and the lifter transfers the coin-shaped members of erected states upward in a line through a vertical passage. The lifter is provided with a base member which is oblong in the vertical direction and forms walls to which both the surface and rear of each coin-shaped member in the vertical passage are opposed and sidewall members which are oblong in the vertical direction and form sidewalls to which the outer peripheral surface of the coin-shaped member is opposed, and in accordance with the combination positions of the sidewall members with the base member, the width of the vertical passage can be controlled.
