PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of a building external wall making the level difference inconspicuous even with a position deviation between outer surface materials arranged on both sides of a joint clearance. SOLUTION: In the joint structure of the building external wall, the joint clearance S between external wall panels 1, 1 is sealed with a waterproof and fireproof gasket 3, and a joint recess 2 wider than the joint clearance S and recessed from the surface position of the outer surface materials 15 is formed between the adjacent outer surface material 15 continuously with the outdoor opening of the joint clearance S.
