FIRE-RESISTANT GLUED LAMINATED TIMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire-resistant glued laminated timber being capable of preventing a carbonization into the glued laminated timber after a fire is completed, being capable of preventing the collapse of a frame by a natural combustion-stop and using no steel material and gypsum board. SOLUTION: The fire-resistant glued laminated timber has a surface layer composed of a timber substantially containing no flame-retardant chemical and a flame-retardant chemical injecting layer injecting and treating the flame-retardant chemical to the timber on the inside adjacent to the surface layer. In the fire-resistant glued laminated timber, the mean value of the quantity of the flame-retardant chemical injected in the flame-retardant chemical injecting layer is higher than 70 kg/m3or more in terms of a solid content.
