PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide automated bookbinding equipment having a structure wherein a hand does not reach a cutting section from a sheet bundle conveying path even when a loading section where the sheet bundle is loaded and stored is opened. SOLUTION: The automated bookbinding equipment has: the cutting section 23 which cuts the sheet bundle in a bound state; the sheet bundle conveying path T5 which conveys the sheet bundle cut in the cutting section 23; the loading section 34 which receives the sheet bundle S1 existing in the sheet bundle conveying path T5 and loads and stores it sequentially; and an opening-closing part which makes the loading section 34 openable and closable to be in an opened/closed state. A movable type guide 220 for moving between the position where it narrows the path T5 and the position where it widens it, is provided between the cutting section 23 and the loading section 34, and when the loading section 34 is opened, the movable type guide 220 is positioned in the state of narrowing the sheet bundle conveying path T5.
