<p>A lift installation with a belt, belt for such a lift installation, method of producing such a belt, composite of such belts and method for assembly of such a composite in a lift installation are provided to attenuate vibration and distribute impact exerted on the belt by adding the volume of a belt body in a thickness direction of the belt which has greater thickness than its width. A lift installation comprises a belt composite comprising more than one belt, a lift cargo, and a driving apparatus. The belt comprises a tensile carrier composite(21) and a belt body(20), wherein the belt body belt body comprises a first contact side(20.4) on a first cross-sectional side in a thickness direction of the belt, and a second contact side(20.5) on a second cross-sectional side opposite the first cross sectional side in a thickness direction of the belt. The rate of maximum width(w) with respect to maximum thickness(t) of the belt is about 0.8 to 1.0, desirably about 0.9 to 1.0, more desirably 1.0. The tensile carrier composite is disposed on about the center of the belt body with respect the maximum thickness.</p> |
