<p>A lift installation with a lift support unit, a lift support unit for the lift installation and a method for producing the lift support unit are provided to elongate service life of the belt with reducing stress on ribs by allowing relative movement between two adjacent ribs in horizontal and/or vertical directions. A lift support unit(12) for a lift installation comprises a rib arrangement, a tensile carrier arrangement, and a carrier band(15). The rib arrangement comprises two or more ribs(13) extending in a longitudinal direction of the lift support unit. The tensile carrier arrangement comprises one or more tensile carrier tensile carrier(14) assembled to the ribs of the rib arrangement. The carrier band is where the ribs of the rib arrangement are secured. A groove(16) substantially reaching the carrier band is provided between two adjacent ribs of the rib arrangement.</p> |
