<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode reduction method of a solid oxide fuel cell wherein problems in a conventional reduction method for a metal oxide in the anode of the solid oxide fuel cell are solved. <P>SOLUTION: In this anode reduction method of the solid oxide fuel cell, a purge gas is sent to the fuel passage side of the anode of the solid oxide fuel cell, a reverse current is sent to the solid oxide fuel cell while sending an oxidizer gas to the oxidizer passage side of a cathode, and thereby the oxide of a catalyst metal in the anode is electrochemically reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
