<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin bottle having excellent shape-keeping property which is capable of effectively suppressing any outwardly swelling deformation of a recessed part formed in a barrel portion caused by an increase in the internal pressure in a bottle caused by high-temperature filling and heat sterilization of a content. <P>SOLUTION: In a PET bottle, the recessed part 10 is formed in a barrel portion 132 connected to a mouth part. The recessed part 10 has vertical grooves 11 and 12 extending along an axis O of the bottle. The vertical grooves 11 and 12 have valley lines 11b and 12b forming deepest parts of the vertical grooves 11 and 12 across the vertical grooves 11 and 12. Inclined parts 11a and 12a forming the deepest parts of the vertical grooves 11 and 12 by connecting flat groove bottom parts 11c and 12c via the valley lines 11b and 12b are formed in the vertical grooves 11 and 12. The recessed part 10 has three vertical grooves 11 and 12 along the circumferential direction of the barrel portion. The valley line 12b of the vertical groove 12 is deeper than the valley line 11b of the vertical groove 11 located on both sides thereof. The two vertical grooves 11 are connected to each other with their groove bottom parts 11c continuous to each other so as to be projecting toward the mouth part, the groove bottom part 12c of the vertical groove 12 is connected to the groove bottom part 11c via an inclined part 12e, and an area partitioned by these three vertical grooves 11 and 12 forms a projecting rib 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
