PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that copes with a tendency of making electrode pattern formation accuracy difficult caused by a tendency or the like of making electrodes high-density due to a tendency of making PDPs high-definition. SOLUTION: In the PDP 10, for example, a plurality of address electrodes 13 formed on the surface of a rear-face glass substrate 2 respectively have electrode terminals 133 in a region at a periphery of the panel. Each conduction hole 50 penetrating through from the surface to the rear face is provided in the rear-face glass substrate 2 at the periphery. In the periphery, a first group of the electrode terminals 133 of a plurality of the address electrodes 13 is formed and arranged on the surface side as surface electrodes 133a, and a second group of the electrode terminals is formed and arranged on the rear-face side as rear-face electrodes 133b while being extended to the rear-face side via each conduction hole 50 and a conduction electrode part 134 of each conduction hole.
