PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly provide a high performance system, a high reliability system and an inexpensive system in a small-scale information processor. SOLUTION: A system control device controlling a plurality of storage devices comprises a means for dividing data of processor bus width from the processor into a plurality of divided data; a first transfer means for distributing and transferring the plurality of divided data simultaneously to the plurality of storage devices; a second transfer means for time-sharing and transferring the plurality of divided data sequentially to the same storage device; and a mode control means for operating either the first transfer means or the second transfer means.
