PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-oil separation unit for returning an oil back to an oil pan as quickly as possible with a content of an air in the oil as little as possible. SOLUTION: An oil removal device 8 includes: a crank case integrally formed with an air-oil separation unit 9, communicated with an oil inlet port 13 of the air-oil separation unit 9, having an oil outlet port of the air-oil separation unit 9 at a position above an oil level of the oil pan in each running condition of an automobile having an internal combustion engine, and rotatably supporting a crank shaft with a con rod attached thereto; an oil removal unit for removing oil from the crank shaft while rotating; the oil pan for receiving oil removed by the oil removal unit: and the air-oil separation unit for separating air from the received oil.
