PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce pressure loss and improve pump performance by making a gap between a gear and a casing as small as possible, and secure good assemblability. SOLUTION: In an internal gear pump 1 rotatably storing a trochoid 2 comprising an outer rotor 10 and an inner rotor 20 inscribing the outer rotor 10 in a trochoid storage hollow part 31 of the casing 30, a dead space 31d continuously projecting in a radial direction outward from a bottom surface is formed on an inner corner part 31c of the hollow part 31 formed by an inner wall surface 31a and a bottom surface 31b over a whole circumference, and a gap between the outer rotor 10 having perpendicular circumference edge corner part on a front and a back side and the casing 30 or a cover 40 is made as small as possible.
