PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crescent capable of facilitating the adjustment of the fitting of a sash with an idle hooking preventing function which detects the opening/closing state of inner and outer screens by a trigger part, and also to provide a sash with the crescent. SOLUTION: The inner and outer shojis are formed in a double-sliding manner, the crescent having a handle and a box part with its turning mechanism is provided in the inner screen, and a receiving fitting is provided in the outer screen. A fitting cover for covering a part of an indoor surface is provided in the receiving fitting, the fitting cover has a protrusion which protrudes to the indoor side, and an irrotational mechanism 20 is provided in the box part of the crescent. The irrotational mechanism 20 has the trigger part 23 which protrudes from the box part to the outdoor side with the turning of the handle and a slide part 22 which fixes the trigger part 23 and freely slides in the box part. The trigger part 23 is screwed to the slide part 22 in a sliding direction, so that the trigger part 23 is freely positioned in a protruding direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
