PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand stool which can be easily removed, but not automatically, and which can be easily installed as well. SOLUTION: The stool includes a seat (not shown in the figure), an post 2 which supports the seat, a base 4 which is fixed to the floor to support the post 2, and the base 4 has a tube 3 internally fitted with the lower end of the lower end of the post 2. The stool includes means 7 and 10 for preventing the lower end of the post 2, which is fitted to the tube 3 at the lower part from turning, and means 7, 8 and 9 for preventing the lower end of the upright leg 2 from coming off the tube 3 when the post 2 is fitted into the tube 3.
