[PROBLEMS] A seat-mounted occupant restraint apparatus that can be set so that a pressurized fluid can be supplied, according to the order of priority, to airbags expanding around the substantial periphery of the occupant when inflated and in which common gas supply means for supplying the pressurized gas is simplified. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] The occupant restraint apparatus has a backrest (1B), two side-airbags (11a, 11b) installed in the backrest (1B) so as to expand to the sides of the occupant (2) when inflated, a common inflator (13) for supplying gas to the two side-airbags (11a, 11b), and gas supply holes (15a, 15b) for setting the priority of the supply of the gas to the two side-air bags (11a, 11b) through the inflator (13). |
