AIRBAG GRID STRUCTURE

An airbag grid structure having an airbag grid member (3) and a resin frame member (4) provided on the back side of the airbag grid member (3). The airbag grid member (3) is divided into a lid (8) and an outer peripheral section (9). The lid (8) is opened about a hinge center (7), along a closed-loop-shaped rupture groove (6) formed on the back side. The outer peripheral section (9) surrounds the outer periphery of the lid (8). The resin frame member (4) has a door (11) secured to the lid (8), a frame (12) secured to the outer peripheral section (9), and an extra length section (3) placed at a lower part of the hinge center (7) between the door (11) and the frame (12) while having a sufficient margin in its length. Further, a bridge section (31) having shorter length than the extra length section (13) is partially placed between the door (11) and the frame (12)
