<p>A system and method for implementing short message supplementary service, include mobile switching center (MSC) and short message supplementary equipment (SMSE) which respectively connects to short message service center (SMSC), the short message supplementary equipment SMSE manages short message supplementary service user database in the short message service center SMSC, receives short messages sent by the short message service center SMSC, processes short messages according to predetermined rules or flows, and transfers short messages to destination addresses through the short message service center SMSC. With the system or method, short message supplementary services, e.g. short message disturb-free, short message filter, short message automatically stored in electronic mailboxes etc. may be implemented, so that the mobile phone users may enjoy more perfect short message services, and the mobile phone operator may enjoy more characteristic new services.</p> |
