An audio visual system for a vehicle is provided to move the circumference of a dash play panel variably to an area where a black signal is displayed. A main panel housing(100) fixes a display member. A pair of sub panel housings(110) are located at the lower portion of the panel housing, comprises the horizontal and vertical shafts, is slid with a predetermined length by an arbitrary driving member toward the center of the display member, and covers a portion of the display area of the display member. A driving motor controls the position of the panel housing according to a control signal. An AV control member selectively controls the operation of a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) receiving module or a DVD/Internet operation module by recognizing a user's request signal through a key pad. When the DMB receiving module is operated, the position of the sub-panel housing is moved toward the center of the screen.
