SULFIDE PHOSPHOR WITH COATED EPOXY AND METHOD THEREFOR AND LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE THEREOF

A sulfide phosphor coated with an epoxy resin, a preparing method thereof and a light emitting device employing the same are provided to improve a hygroscopic characteristic by coating sulfide phosphor particles with an epoxy resin. A sulfide phosphor includes sulfide phosphor particles(11) and epoxy resin(12) enclosing each sulfide phosphor particle for coating the sulfide phosphor particles. The sulfide phosphor particles to be coated are mixed with a base and a curing agent to form a compound, and then acetone is added and mixed with the compound. The compound is filed by using a filter paper to a liquid from the compound, and then the remaining compound is dried. The dried compound is cured in an oven under curing conditions.
