PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily release speech holding by an operator terminal. SOLUTION: This call center system is configured of a switching device, connected to a telephone network for controlling the incoming call of a telephone and a PC and a telephone terminal, connected to the switching device. The switching device is provided with a holding control part for controlling the call holding and holding the release of the telephone terminal, and in response to the request of the call holding of the telephone terminal from a PC or the telephone terminal, the switching device performs call holding of the telephone terminal; and when on-hook of the telephone terminal is detected, while the telephone terminal is in call holding, the switching device releases the holding of the telephone terminal, and makes the telephone terminal receive the incoming call.
