PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric converter capable of suppressing occurrence of a convection current or the like, in a space wherein a thermoelectric conversion module is accommodated. SOLUTION: A thermoelectric conversion unit 100 is provided with a separator 150 that separates a space accommodated with the thermoelectric conversion module 140 provided with a plurality ofπ-type thermoelectric elements. That is, the separated space is surrounded by a heat transmission block 110, a heat dissipation fin 120, and a case 130, to be separated into a low temperature side space 161 including an endothermic face of the thermoelectric conversion module 140, and a high temperature side space 162 including a heat dissipation face of the module 140. Since the space accommodating the thermoelectric conversion module 140 is separated into the low temperature side space 161 and the high temperature side space 162 by the separator 150, occurrence of the convection current or the like can be suppressed in the space for accommodating the thermoelectric conversion module 140, and a thermal loss can be reduced as caused by the convection current or the like.
