PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guiding device for a vehicle enabling traveling corresponding to a calculated desired fuel consumption. SOLUTION: This route guiding device 1 for the vehicle includes a searching means 2a for searching for a route to a destination, and a display means 2b for displaying the route searched for. The device 1 also includes a vehicle speed pattern calculation means 2c for calculating a vehicle speed pattern based on the route searched for, and a fuel consumption calculation means 2e for calculating the fuel consumption along the route based on the vehicle speed pattern.
