PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new and more simple roughened surface forming working method of the surface of a formed body for roughening some part of the surface or the whole surface of the solid formed body into a matte- or satin-like surface so as to make the conventionally difficult repairing of the glossed surface of a metal formed body to its initial satin-like surface possible. SOLUTION: The roughened surface forming working method of the surface of the formed body is to form a roughened surface 1 corresponding to the tongued and grooved surface made of a large number of abrasive material particles on the abrasive material surface of an abrasive cloth paper by applying a thrusting force from the rear surface of the applied abrasive cloth paper 3 after the application is made so as to contact the abrasive material surface on the surface of the abrasive cloth paper 3 with the surface of the solid formed body.
