<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin bottle which is given an appropreate cross-sectional shape to prevent or alleviate collapsing deformation occurring at the bottom part of the bottle. <P>SOLUTION: The synthetic resin bottle 10 has a mouth part 11 from which a content material is poured out, and a shoulder part 12, a trunk part 13, and the bottom part 16 that are continuous with the mouth part 11 and integrally formed. Between the trunk part 13 and the bottom part 16, a step part 17 is provided, whose trunk part side is radially outside from the bottom part side.
