PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent which can reduce load to treat waste water by bringing destruction of emulsion state and oil water separation to be easy by destroying surface active activity of the detergent remaining in the waste water after using the detergent. SOLUTION: The detergent comprising a copolymer (A) having a polyoxyalkylene skeleton (a) and a polyester skeleton (b) in a molecule in which the skeleton (a)/the skeleton (b)=90/10-30/70 in weight ratio and the polyester skeleton (b) is introduced into a higher alcohol alkylene oxide adduct, is used.
