PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement admixture with which fluidity of a cement composition such as cement paste, mortar or concrete can be kept while enhancing dispersibility of the cement composition, the viscosity of the cement composition can be adjusted so as to facilitate work at the site of handling the cement composition or the like, and the preferable condition of the cement composition or the like can be secured. SOLUTION: The cement admixture contains at least one compound selected from the group comprising quaternary ammonium group-containing polyalkylene imine-based, polyalkylene amine-based and polyether amine-based compounds.
