PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of photoreceptor performance of a liquid development electrophotographic device. SOLUTION: A polishing roller for the liquid development electrophotographic device is used for surface polishing of a photoreceptor by providing the liquid development electrophotographic device and has an elastic body layer on the outer periphery of a shaft body and an abrasive material on at least an outer peripheral face. The elastic body layer is formed to use polyurethane yielded by reacting polyester polyol and two-functional isocyanate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
