PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a planar heating element which is used for the planar heating element, and in which especially a surface conductor having recesses and protrusions and a planar electrode are joined superbly and current can be made to flow stably. SOLUTION: This is a manufacturing method of the electrode for the planar heating element wherein the conductive material is coated on the planar electrode, and at least a part of solvents forming this conductive material is heated and removed, and the electrode for the planar heating element consisting of the planar electrode and the conductive material in which at least a part of the solvents forming the conductive material is heated and removed.
