PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device allowing a switch to be rapidly positioned at a desired position, and capable of enhancing operability of the switch. SOLUTION: This switch device is provided with: a switch part having a pressure sensor 3 detecting holding force holding a slide switch 2; a drive mechanism 4A as a resistance generation part generating operation resistance resisting the operation of the slide switch 2; and a controller 5 controlling the output of a temperature regulator 10 according to an operation amount of the slide switch 2, and controlling the operation resistance according to the holding force holding the slide switch 2.
