PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for control allowing improvement of manipulation operation, by investigating the cause of a manipulation operation error. SOLUTION: A programmable display 1 has a display 3 displaying an operation image screen for indicating a state of a device 8 controlled by a programmable logic controller 7, a touch panel 4 accepting operation to the operation image screen, a control indicating part 39 transmitting state control instruction of the device 8 to the programmable logic controller 7 in response to the operation to the operation image screen, a remote desktop part 6 superposingly displaying an operation guidance 11 transmitted via the network from a host computer 10 on the operation image screen, and a picture recording part 2 recording a video image showing the operation image screen superposingly displayed by the remote desktop part 6.
