PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood product having conspicuous woodgrain and glossy beautiful feeling, not containing an organic solvent, which causes a "sick house syndrome", having excellent safety having no problem even in a case that children lick or taste the wood product, not almost having an offensive smell and keeping an aesthetic feeling over a long period. SOLUTION: In a glycerine/fatty acid ester (1) with an esterification ratio of 75% or above, 90% or above of constituent fatty acids are a mixed fatty acid composed of palmitic acid, oleic acid and linolic acid. The glycerine/fatty acid ester wherein the ratio of palmitic acid, oleic acid and linolic acid is 1.0:1.5-4.6:1.1-3.7 is infiltrated in wood from the surface of the wood to obtain the wood product.
