PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage machine capable of executing therapy with unprecedented modes such as stretching the pelvis of a person to be treated by moving footrests in the left/right direction, for example, and sliding in the left/right direction or tilting in the left/right direction. SOLUTION: This chair type massage machine is provided with a seat part 2 where the person to be treated seats, and a right-side footrest 4a and a left-side footrest provided in front of the seat part 2; and the right-side footrest 4a and the left-side footrest are so constituted as to be movable in the left/right direction by a moving mechanism 50.
