A fuel cell having a structure for collecting or discharging an electrolyte at the bottom of the container is provided to easily control the activation of a fuel cell, and to allow combustion of hydrogen gas by using an electric heater. A fuel cell comprises an electrode and an electrolyte(120), and further comprises at least one of an electric heater(135) for removing hydrogen, an electrolyte-controlling structure(150) for controlling supply of an electrolyte and an electrolyte storage container(160). The electric heater for removing hydrogen is composed of heating wires, and the electrolyte-controlling structure allows an electrode to be dipped into the electrolyte so that chemical reactions are activated when electricity generation is required, and an electrolyte to be discharged from the bottom of the electrode when electricity generation is not required. |
