A paint composition containing yellow soil, and a method for preparing the paint composition are provided to obtain useful function such as far infrared rays radiating effect, anion emitting effect and antibacterial effect. A paint composition comprises 100-300 parts by weight of a polyacrylate emulsion having a viscosity of 15-25 cP and a solid content of 38-41 wt%; 50-150 parts by weight of a polyacrylamide solution having a viscosity of 5,000-7,000 cP and a solid content of 28-30 wt%; 250-300 parts by weight of yellow soil; 50-80 parts by weight of a perlite powder; 300-500 parts by weight of water; optionally 1-3 parts by weight of an antifoaming agent; and optionally 1-2 parts by weight of a water repellent. |
