BIODEGRADABLE RESIN COMPOSITION AND MOLDED BODY THEREOF

Disclosed is a resin composition obtained by adding a specific plasticizer to a plant-based biodegradable plastic. This resin composition is excellent in impact resistance, tensile elongation characteristics, heat resistance, surface properties, moldability and the like, and changes in these characteristics over time are small. Also disclosed is a molded body of such a resin composition. Specifically disclosed is a resin composition having the above-described characteristics, which is obtained by blending a plasticizer (B) mainly composed of a polyglycerol acetic acid ester having an acetylation degree of not less than 50% into a biodegradable 3-hydroxyalkanoate copolymer (A) composed of a repeating unit represented by the following general formula (1): [-CHR-CH₂-CO-O-] (wherein R represents an alkyl group expressed as C_nH_2n+1, and n represents an integer of 1-15).Also specifically disclosed is a molded body of this resin composition.
