DIP COATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dip coating capable of forming a stable coating film with no variation in feed pressure accompanying pulsating motion when forming the coating film over the surface of a cylindrical base material or a column base material by drawing up the cylindrical base material or the column base material after dipping the cylindrical base material or the column base material as a development roller into a coating liquid dispersed with coarse particles in a coating vessel which are circulated/fed by a feed pump.

SOLUTION: In the dip coating method by which the coating film is formed on the surface of a cylindrical base material or a column base material by drawing up it after dipping it as a development roller into a coating liquid dispersed with coarse particles in a coating vessel which are circulated/fed by a feed pump, an average size of the coarse particles is 1-30μm and also the coating liquid is circulated/fed to the coating vessel at the number of rotation of the pump 20-600 rpm.
