PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination fixture capable of reducing the weight of a light control body to cover a lamp, and capable of being supported by a light control body holder by forming the light control body into a prescribed shape regardless of this weight reduction. SOLUTION: A long square frame shaped globe holder (light control body holder) 11 surrounding the lower part outer periphery of this main body 2 is openably and closably mounted on the long square shaped fixture main body 2 in plan view to support the lamp 7. An inwardly protruding part 14 protruding to the lamp 7 side and a support edge 13 which is positioned in the lower side vicinity of the protruding part 14 and which is protruded to the lamp side are installed at a pair of frame materials 12 equipped with the holder 11. The globe (light control body) 21 covering the lamp from below is formed by being equipped with the globe main body (light control main body) 22 having an overhang edge 22a bent outward and hooked to the support edge 13 and a light control body end plate 24 which is adhered to this main body and closes the ends in the longitudinal direction of the globe main body 22. A globe press (light control body press) 31 is fixed to the frame material 12, and by a press edge 31c possessed by this press, the overhang edge 22a is pinched between the support edge 13 over the nearly total length of the longitudinal direction.
