<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the stirring resistance of a lubricating oil from being increased by a crown retainer without reducing the contact surface of a rolling element on the race of a rolling bearing. <P>SOLUTION: A recessed groove 9 having predetermined widths W1, W2 is formed in the outer peripheral surface 5a of the retainer body part 5 of the crown retainer C1 of a deep groove ball bearing B in the direction axial to the pocket connection line L connecting the inner peripheral edges 11 of the bottom parts 3b of pockets 3. The gap δ1 (recessed groove separate distance) between the groove bottom part 9a of the recessed groove 9 and the shoulder part 2b of the outer ring 2 of the deep groove ball bearing B is larger than the conventional gap δ'. The lubricating oil collided with a ball 4 contained in each pocket 3, flowing to the rear surface R of the deep groove ball bearing B, and flowing into the recessed groove 9 easily flows to the outside of the crown retainer C1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
