<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system which optimumly performs the image adjustment of an image forming apparatus equipped with a post processor. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming processing to form an image is performed, and whether the image adjustment is necessary is judged. When it is judged that the image adjustment is necessary, the operating situation of the post processor 102 is confirmed, and when the post processor 102 is in operation, the image adjusting processing judged as the necessary processing is inhibited.
