<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for displaying a variety of items of operation information of an optical reader so as to be easily recognized in a narrow area as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: An operation panel unit 6 is arranged on a plane section of a bar code reader. A multi information display LED 61 is disposed on the panel unit 6. The LED 61 is composed of first light emitting units LA1-LA5 horizontally long and arrayed in a longitudinal direction; and second light emitting units LB1-LB4 vertically long and arrayed in a longitudinal direction two by two on right and left sides. The first light emitting units LA1-LA5 bar-display the read success rate etc., of the bar code reader by the number of lighted units. The first light emitting units LA1, LA3, LA5 and the second light emitting units LB1-LB4 are arrayed in the same manner as that of a seven-segment display device, and display numeric figures and alphabetic coded characters. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
