<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink excellent in discharging stability and having preferable flatness and suppressing color mixing, a void or color irregularity in pixel formation. <P>SOLUTION: An ink-jet ink for a color filter is provided to be used for forming a color region by an ink-jet method in recesses on a substrate segmented by barrier walls and is characterized by having a contact angle of 40° or larger on a barrier wall subjected to plasma treatment under conditions of having 110° contact angle with water; and the viscosity of an ink residue when the ink is dried in a state of 1 mm average thickness under conditions of 5 mmHg (0.67 kPa) at 45°C for 8 hours, is 40 mPa s to 4,000 mPa s. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
