The carrier back plate (24), for an electricity consumption meter site (100a), has holder straps (28,30) to take a hook (32) for suspension of an intermediate section (36) with the electronic meter (42). The plate also has fasteners to secure metal rails, at right angles to each other, for mounting an analog meter.
