<p>The device has a drying device or a drying section (8) and a carry-along medium (30,31,32), which engages in horizontal position of the data carrier blank in a center hole of the data carrier blank. The carry-along medium has an anti-stick coating particularly a Teflon(RTM: is a synthetic fluoropolymer) coating, and the carry-along medium deviates in vertical position and is movable in the drying device or through the drying section.
