A structure for improving performance of an active headrest is provided to support a head and a neck of an occupant quickly by reducing an operating time of the headrest, and to prevent damage by continuously supporting the head and neck after operation of the headrest. A structure for improving performance of an active headrest(100) comprises a lumber support plate(210) provided inside a seat back frame(200) for supporting a body of an occupant, a lumber support interlocking wire(220) interlocked with the lumber support plate, a link bracket provided on the lumber support interlocking wire and rotated by the lumber support interlocking wire to rotate a link connecting pipe(250) that raises the active headrest pipe, a pelvis guide(270) provided inside the seat back frame so as to support a lower end of the lumber support interlocking wire and including a guide slot(272) that guides the lumber support interlocking wire so that the lumber support interlocking wire is positioned at a lower side of an inner circumference surface at a position where the active headrest is not operated and the lumber support interlocking wire is positioned at an upper side of the inner circumference surface at a position where the active headrest is operated, and a stopper provided inside the seat back frame and provided with a hook projection supporting a lower end of the active headrest pipe upward so as to prevent an active headrest pipe(260) from moving down at an operation position of the active headrest.
