<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To photograph a face of a person under proper focus and exposure conditions in a monitoring camera or the like, even if it takes much time to detect a face area. <P>SOLUTION: Adjacent two frames are saved in memory areas A1 and A2, the face area is detected by copying a present frame F(i) in the memory area A3 in each 6-frames in consideration of a face area detecting time from the frame, and its position data P(i) are saved in the memory area A4. A motion vector V(i) between the frames is calculated, and previous 6 frames is saved in the memory area A5. The position data P(i) are saved for a frame F(i+6) but correction (estimation) positions Pe(i+7) to Pe(i+12) of the face area are calculated by each motion vector of the position data P(i) and the memory area A5 and the motion vector after the frame F(i+7), and focus/exposure/WB controls are performed according to the face area for each frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
