<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for correcting color balance depending on the image output characteristic of an image output means. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor includes: a representative value calculating part 214 for calculating representative values representing the hue and chroma of a pixel included in a flesh color area, based on the signal value of the pixel included in the flesh color area comprising the pixel which expresses human skin in an image; and a correction processing part 216 for correcting the color balance relative to the image with the use of a performance correction amount which is reduction coefficients to be set corresponding to the representative values, based on reference reduction coefficients to be set concerning a plurality of positions on a plane expressing the hue and chroma, and is set by following a standard correction amount which is obtained by multiplying a difference between the representative values and ideal values, which are set as values to express the ideal hue and chroma of the human skin, by the reduction coefficients. The correction processing part 216 includes a reference reduction coefficient determining part 217 for determining the reference reduction coefficients suitable for the image output characteristic of the image output means for outputting the image corrected in color balance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
