PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote code reader system capable of providing different kind of service to the same code according to an installation place of a client even when hardware performance of the client is equivalent.

SOLUTION: Even the same barcode 11, when a barcode reader 7 transmits it from an individual house 41-N, an advertisement assistance server 31 transmits a first individual portal picture corresponding to the barcode 11 to the individual house 41-N and when the barcode reader transmits the barcode 11 from a store 35-K, the advertisement assistance server 31 transmits a second individual portal picture 101 corresponding to the barcode 11, with the content different from that of the first individual portal picture 100 to the store 35-K.
